This design is based off of the AVEflex design from YveltalGriffin over on the BitBuilt.net forums.
The AVE-Relocation is designed to be installed on "trimmed" Wii motherboards that are being modified to be portable like what is commonly shown on BitBuilt. These allow the end user to trim their Wii motherboards smaller than was previously possible while maintaining VGA, Component, and Composite video output that their standard Wii is normally capable of.
The AVE-Relocation allows for easy access to the Component and VGA signals of the Wii's original AVE-RVL audio and video converter.
Our AVE-Relocation is assembled using "new old stock" of the AVE-RVL chip that is found on original Wii motherboards. This means that the AVE-RVL chips we use have never previously been installed on any circuit boards - they are brand new chips that were left over from the Wii's original production runs. How cool is that!
Because these boards are primarily focused for installations in portable Wii's, this board is currently only compatible with the following Wii revisions:
- RVL-CPU-40
- RVL-CPU-50
- RVL-CPU-60
- RVK-CPU-01
- RVK-CPU-02
Since these boards are built using original, unused AVE-RVL chips we will not be restocking these boards once they go out of stock. Get yours while we have them!
