Refund policy

United States Orders

We have a 7-day return policy for orders shipped within the United States, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
For orders placed between November 15 and December 31, the return window is extended through January 10 of the following year.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A digital order confirmation or other proof of purchase is sufficient.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable, as these services are paid directly to the carrier and are not recoverable.

If your return is accepted and the original return request was made within 7 days of delivery confirmation (or by Jan 10 for holiday orders), then Electron Shepherd will provide a prepaid return label and return instructions.

If the return is accepted and the original return request was made outside of 7 days since delivery confirmation, then the customer is responsible for return shipping.

Returns for reasons other than defect or error (e.g. change of mind) are subject to a restocking fee of $5.00 USD or 10% product cost. which ever is greater.

If a package is returned to sender due to an incorrect address, refusal to pay duties, or failure to retrieve the package, the original shipping charge will not be refunded.


International Orders

We accept returns for international orders, but customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and any associated customs or import fees. Unfortunately, Electron Shepherd is unable to create return shipping labels with international post offices/courier services.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A digital receipt or order confirmation is required.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable, as these services are paid directly to the carrier and are not recoverable.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Generating and purchasing the return shipping label.

  • Prepaying any customs or import fees. If unpaid and Electron Shepherd is billed, that amount will be deducted from your refund.

European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification.

To initiate a cancellation, contact shane@electron-shepherd.com. Items must be returned unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

All standard international return conditions apply (see above).


Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. Contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can resolve the issue quickly.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • ElectronAVE Kit or ElectronAnalog, once soldered or modified.

  • Sale items, gift cards, and checkout tips.

If you're unsure about your item’s eligibility, contact us before returning.


Exchanges

To exchange an item, please return it first. Once the return is accepted, place a new order for the replacement item.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval status.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please allow extra time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
