This board simplifies the task of toggling between two displays from a single RGBHS (VGA) source. Simply apply or remove a voltage from the SEL pin to toggle between one output and the other. This is a perfect solution for portable consoles or small embedded projects that need the ability to switch between two VGA display devices.

For example, if you connect the SEL pin on this board to the hot plug detection pin of an HDMI connector, then you can easily toggle between a VGA display and a connected HDMI display when the HDMI cable is connected! 

The SEL pin can be either a 3.3V or 5V signal, but the supply voltage for this board can ONLY be 3.3V.

Please be aware that these boards contain components that are sensitive to ESD strikes. Be sure to handle these using proper ESD handling techniques.
